How to play Neon Pipes
Neon Pipes is a practice puzzle on a 5 by 5 grid. One tile is the source and one is the destination. Turn the other tiles until a connected path joins them. There is no daily board.
Controls on phone and computer
Select Play. Tap or click a tile to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise. On a keyboard, move the highlight with the arrow keys, then press Enter or Space to rotate the highlighted tile. The source and destination keep their openings fixed; selecting them does not turn them. That fixed orientation is also written on the tile, not only shown by colour.
Connection, moves, and time
Two neighbouring tiles connect only when each has an opening facing the other. A valid path from the source to the destination wins even if other tiles are unused or have openings that lead nowhere. Each rotation counts as one move, and fewer moves is better. The clock starts on the first move, stops when you win, and does not count time spent paused. The clock is informational. Neon Pipes does not submit a public leaderboard score. Restart puts the same scramble back and resets the move count. New Puzzle deals another scramble.
Tips
- Trace outward from the source instead of turning every tile.
- A corner needs two turns to face the opposite way from where it started.
- Leaving a tile unused is fine once the source already reaches the destination.
